These are the ingredients you need for the "student-style" fried rice:

  • 40 ml of cooking oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g onions, diced
  • 200 g bockwurst, sliced
  • 100 g carrots, diced
  • 500 g of rice from the day before
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 50 g herb butter
  • 150 g peas
  • 15 g chives, finely chopped

It's as simple as this:

  • In a frying pan (or wok), heat half of the cooking oil, beat in the eggs, stir and let it set. Remove and set aside.
  • Heat the remaining oil in the pan and sauté the onions, bockwurst and carrots for a few minutes.
  • Add the rice, pepper, salt, herb butter and peas and mix well. Finally, add the eggs to the fried rice and toss to combine.
  • Garnish with chives and serve.
