Yulia is still with us: This morning (Monday), during a beach scan for sea turtle laying, Yulia was found by the Nature and Parks Authority's Director of the Marine Region, Guy Levyan, resting on a closed beach that is a firing zone in the center of the country. This was after last night she tried to go ashore in Bat Yam, but returned to the sea after civilians approached her.

Watching last night's footage, Dr. Maya Elser of Delphis, who leads seal research in Israel, notes that "Julia is doing well." This morning Julia returned to the sea.
