Horrendous deposit vouchers can be seen again and again. However, the one published by a Kaufland customer is really record-breaking.
Worms - Stately deposit vouchers always amaze the net. With 8-cent bottles, it also takes quite a while to get to a decent amount. With 25-cent containers, this is faster. But even then, the average consumer is more likely to end up in the low double-digit range.
However, tz.de repeatedly reported on exceptions: If a thirsty punk band has destroyed large quantities of beer, 60 euros are raised. A Munich man left a Kaufland store with a deposit of 272.12 euros. Just above was a customer who prompted a Rewe employee to make an "I hate people" statement. A pawn couple collected for a year, with a corresponding yield.

Kaufland customer hands in deposit for 415.94 euros
Extremely impressive: In the fall of 2022 (now deleted), a Kaufland customer publicly posted a deposit receipt on Facebook that topped most of the extreme examples above. "Once again deposit submitted," she wrote - and of course knew exactly that the note does not document a normal "I'll take away a handful of bottles" action. It's a big eye-catcher.
According to the report, she collected 415.94 euros for empties at the Kaufland store in Worms (Rhineland-Palatinate) on October 27, 2022! "New record," she boasted in the comments. Of course, the authenticity of the note has not been confirmed, but it really doesn't look like a fake.
"Dude," one Facebook user wrote. "What do they say at the checkout?" another user wanted to know. "They just looked stupid," was the reply. The question of how so much deposit came about remained unanswered for the time being. Unlike another that has been raised.
Kaufland customer stored bottles in the bathroom
"I'm just wondering where you always store the bottles?" said one user. "In the lower bathroom" was the answer. "Awesome. Is it then filled to the ceiling?" - "Jo, something like that." The Kaufland customer must have been busy at the empties machine for a while on that 27th of October. A "historic" receipt from 1996 is also making waves on the net. (lin)
