Cooperation agreement between ANSA and the Kuwaiti agency KUNA

The Kuwaiti agency KUNA and ANSA today signed a collaboration agreement that provides for the possibility for partners to use their respective information services for editorial use and to develop joint commercial offers to support the communication of institutions and companies in their respective countries.
The agreement was signed in digital connection between the two agencies, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Kuwait Carlo Baldocci and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy Nasser Sanhat Alqahtani.
Ambassador Carlo Baldocci praised the solid bilateral relations between Italy and Kuwait and expressed the hope that the two countries will intensify and further develop mutual relations in various sectors including press and media. The diplomat stressed that the signing of the agreement expresses the willingness of both countries to promote mutual understanding and knowledge, through the development of relations in the field of communication and information, the exchange of visits by technical groups and journalists between the two parties, the exchange of news and information in the media,
For Ambassador Nasser Sanhat Alqahtani, "the signing today of this agreement between KUNA and ANSA is an important impulse that renews and deepens the professional cooperation, already thirty years, of the two main references, information actors in Kuwait and Italy; It also reflects the strong mutual will of our two countries to expand cooperation at all levels within the fruitful relations of strong friendship. The cooperation between KUNA and ANSA is also one of the qualifying and constitutive aspects of relations and dialogue and cultural exchange and in the various sectors, which bind our peoples and consolidates the excellent and growing cooperation in the field of institutional relations of which we are about to celebrate, next year, the sixtieth anniversary".
The Director General of KUNA, Fatima Al-Salem, praised the depth and prestige of the relations of friendship and cooperation between Kuwait and Italy, underlining the common will to strengthen them in various fields, including the media. "KUNA is eager to build a wide network of relations with ANSA and to strengthen joint cooperation, with the aim of imagining an evolved future for the media sector and innovative media, which elevate it while preserving its mission, values and objectives", he added, expressing the hope that "the collaboration agreement signed today between KUNA and ANSA will contribute to consolidating an advanced model of media cooperation as a platform for exchanging news and to highlight the development paths, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of information and improving and refining the skills of operators. The signing of the agreement is part of KUNA's desire to strengthen its presence on the international arena and to provide international news agencies, including ANSA, with all news regarding Kuwaiti affairs and to highlight the role of the State of Kuwait in all fields, especially political, parliamentary, economic, cultural and humanitarian".
ANSA CEO Stefano De Alessandri expressed satisfaction for the renewal of this collaboration with a historic partner: "This new agreement is a confirmation and expansion of the work we have been doing for some time with KUNA, which represents an important point of reference in the strategic area of the Middle East.
In addition to expanding the availability of news and mutual knowledge between Kuwait and Italy, this new agreement is also an opportunity for the exchange of experiences, as well as a further opportunity for the development of commercial projects to support the communication of the institutions and companies of the two countries".
