The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which crowned Justine Triet for her Anatomy of a Fall, was marked by highlights: the presentation of Killers of the Flower Moon, Quentin Tarantino's show or the beautiful "music lesson" given by Howard Shore. On stage, this great name in film music has rewound his career, from David Cronenberg's Chromosome 3 to the Lord of the Rings, which earned him two Oscars, in 2002 and 2004, through his six collaborations with Martin Scorsese. At the invitation of Sacem, he took advantage of his presence in Cannes to climb the steps alongside other composers. A way for the Society of Authors, Composers and Music Publishers to highlight the importance of the profession. On a bubbling Croisette, we met this 76-year-old designer, who loves nothing more than "dreaming" his music in the quiet of the oak forest that borders his house, near New York.
