Following an initial publication in Walla Real Estate, employees of System Laboratories, backed by the National Histadrut, are exacerbating the labor dispute they have declared, ahead of sanctions and a complete shutdown of the company's activity - which is expected to significantly disrupt the ongoing work in the real estate industry, which is already suffering from a financial crisis these days.

This is in light of the refusal of the company's management to sign a collective agreement, at the request of the employees, and to improve their conditions. System Laboratories Ltd. provides quality control services to the construction and paving industry and currently employs about 450 employees.

As part of the announced shutdown, the company's employees will not perform soil tests, conduct concrete tests and will not grant laboratory permits - which is expected to create a significant traffic jam and burden on the other companies in the field, which are not prepared to accept all of System's demands.

The Histadrut Leumi said, "In recent days, as part of the labor dispute, we have been exposed to very disturbing data allegedly in the company's employment, wage and remuneration policy, including substantial and large wage gaps between the company's management and the rest of the employees, which constitute the core of the company. In terms of payroll, while the company's management refuses to give salary increases to employees, management upgraded the salaries of senior managers to the most senior positions in the system. In terms of compensation, it is very disturbing to feel that in a year in which System has earned quite a bit, exactly this year, employees are being refused to be compensated for these profits."

System is owned by Russian oligarch Yan Yaakov Gitritz, who reportedly made an exit when he sold, among other things, his shares in Hamashbir to the consumer for NIS 150 million. Gittertz, which operates on the Moscow-Tel Aviv line, owns, through the company and other companies, real estate in Moscow, including two successful malls with a total value of $120 million. In addition, the oligarch owns System Advanced Laboratories, an architecture and design magazine (edited by his wife), exclusivity over the import of fashion and cosmetics products to Russia (among others, of Dr. Fisher and Ahava products) and other alleged wholesale businesses, according to publications.

According to the company's management, "System has always been meticulous about the welfare of its employees, paying fair wages and providing good conditions to its employees, all in accordance with the law. In the same way, the company respects the right of its employees to unionize, will continue to act lawfully and while protecting the rights and welfare of its employees. Presenting the labor dispute declared by the Histadrut Leumi as much as it will stall the real estate market in Israel is meaningless. System will continue to provide its customers with the best service and products, while respecting the law and freedom of association."
