Sometimes all that's missing is a sweet and comforting recipe that requires minimal work and doesn't require a complicated exit from home to stock up.

This chocolate pie is made from ingredients available in every home (or at worst in the local grocery store near you), because all it requires is chocolate, biscuits, butter and heavy cream.

Just be aware, the only effort you will take is waiting a night before you can send spoons and savor. We'll see you hold back.

Method of preparation

How do you make chocolate pie from ingredients you have at home?

  • 1How to prepare the dough:Melt the dark chocolate with the butter. Grind the biscuits finely. In a medium bowl, mix the ground biscuits with the melted chocolate, cream and chocolate spread until you get a paste reminiscent of crunchy dough.

  • 2Attach the dough well to the entire surface of the pan (be sure to line the bottom and edges well to the top - height 3 cm). Put in the refrigerator for half an hour and in the meantime go to prepare the filling.

  • 3How to prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, melt the chocolate and butter in pulses of 20 seconds in the microwave, in three rounds. Mix in between.

  • 4In a small saucepan, bring the cream, water and instant coffee to a boil. Let cool for about 10 minutes.

  • 5Pour the cream over the melted chocolate and stir gently at first with a small whisk and later with a licker until a uniform cream is obtained.

  • 6Remove the pan with the bottom of the biscuits from the refrigerator and pour over the filling. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

  • 7Before serving, beat the heavy cream (no sugar is needed) and spread sloppily over the pie.

  • Other suggestions:
    * Sprinkle over marshmallow pieces and sear with a burner.

    * Garnish with fresh red fruits, amarana cherries, sliced plums, mango or passionfruit.

    * If there are children around, you can always decorate with mini chocolate bars cut into cubes and any other snack that comes to mind and taste.
