Pnrr: Fitto sees governors to 'optimize synergies'

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 29 - The Minister for European Affairs Raffaele Fitto meets today eight governors of the regions with the aim of optimizing the possible synergies between the measures of the Cohesion policies programming 2014-2020, 2021-2027 and the PNRR ".
This was announced by the ministry in a note. "A collaborative path necessary to correct the mistakes of the past and focus on strategic interventions that allow Italy to align itself with the level it deserves and that Europe requires of us".
The Ministry specifies that meetings continue with the residents of the individual Regions to coordinate institutionally with the Presidency of the Council the programming and use of national and European funds. In particular, meetings are planned today morning with the President of the Basilicata Region, Vito Bardi, with the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, with the President of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca, with the President of the Emilia Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, and with the President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio. The meetings will continue in the afternoon with the presidents of the regions of Abruzzo, Lombardy and Tuscany, Marco Marsilio, Attilio Fontana and Eugenio Giani.
"The intent is to optimize the possible synergies between the measures of the Cohesion policies programming 2014-2020, 2021-2027 and the PNRR", explained the minister, "taking stock of the state of the art of the implementation of the programs, starting with those of the 2014-2020 programming. A survey that will allow the optimal use of funds hitherto not managed in a synergistic and efficient way, with obvious repercussions on the disparity between territories,' he pointed out. (ANSA).
