If you look under the dust jacket, it is often monotonous what you discover. An artist reintegrates books and creates works of art.
The internet is full of inspiration. Since hashtags such as #bookstagram or #booktok have millions of views worldwide on Instagram and TikTok, you can see more and more artists who turn rather inconspicuous, boring book spines or book cuts into true works of art. Instagrammer hana_bob_ is also incorporating books in a new way. Almost too beautiful to read.

hana_bob_ has around 104,000 followers on Instagram. The Philadelphia-based artist transforms rather boring-looking books into true works of art that are almost too good to read. In one of her current Instagram stories, the fantasy title "The Hobbit or There and Back" by J. R. R. Tolkien is literally attacked.
So hana_bob_ tears up the paper dust jacket and then devotes himself to the inner workings.
Before the book gets its new book covers, she also embellishes the book cut, which, together with the color-matching covers, results in a wonderful total work of art that also inspires fans. Some are so enthusiastic about it that they would like to imitate it.
- Wow, that looks so great. What colors do you use?
- What you're doing is incredible. Did you teach yourself this?
- Beautiful. Can you buy it?
- Oh my God, this is the most breathtaking, most impressive, most amazing, most spectacular, most beautiful book I've ever seen in my life.
Her revised and newly bound books include "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", "The Chronicles of Narnia" (promotional link) or "The Song of Achilles" (promotional link).
