Realty star and dance judgeAnna Aronovdecided to put an end to the rumors and questions, revealing on her Instagram page that she is dealing with a health problem that affects her appearance.
Aronov posted a story on Monday in which she spoke about the problem: "Many of you have noticed and written to me quite a bit about the fact that there is a difference between my eyes and my right eye is more closed, and something has changed in my eyes and you are right. I didn't react to it because I didn't really know what it was. I've been doing all sorts of tests for a long time. After a journey of tests today I was seen by a lovely doctor who told me I had a thyroid problem," and reassured: "Not anything extreme. I don't have too many abnormal tests. But it turns out that if you have hyperthyroidism, it can affect your eyes. It's a side effect of abnormal thyroid function and that's what happened to me."
The star shared about the medication she's starting to receive and what she's looking forward to in the near future: "I'm going into medication. A very gentle treatment at least at the moment. It's not a short treatment, it's not something specific, it won't take a week, it's a treatment of several months. We're going to have to see over the next few weeks and months to see if there's improvement and if anything changes." She added, "It was important for me to put this on the table because you also keep asking and rightly so, and I'm also going to appear now in prime time and you might recognize it, and I think it's appropriate to voice that this is a health problem and I have nothing to do about it right now except treat it in a conventional way. I really hope it passes for me soon and I'll be me again."
