Printed in 160,000 copies according to GfK, Florent Pagny's autobiography published by Fayard is a small success. Sold nearly 32,000 copies in three days after 20 minutes, it now has more than 100,000 sales, despite a slowdown. According to BFMTV, the majority of sales took place at the time of the book's release, since 77,247 copies were sold between April 5 and May 5.
«Chemo is behind me»
In his autobiography written with Emmanuelle Cosso, writer and long-time friend of Florent Pagny, the singer with 15 million records sold looks back on his childhood, his career and his fight against the disease. Suffering from lung cancer, he explained to Le Figaro that he had a relapse at the end of January. "The cancer has returned. A ganglion settled and I returned from Patagonia in France. He began his third chemotherapy in April.

Beyond his state of health, his book also evokes his relationship with Vanessa Paradis or his troubles with the tax authorities from which his song Ma liberté de penser is directly inspired. The singer, who has planned a festival tour this summer, made a surprise return during the semi-final of The Voice on Saturday night. A pillar of the show since its launch in 2012, he explained after his performance alongside the candidates that "chemo is behind me" and that he will "start singing again.
