They appeared after 11.30 in the morning in San Juan and Boedo, in good health. Their phones were switched off and the movements of a SUBE card were the clues that relatives and investigators were following. After almost 24 hours without traces, the boys of 12 and 13 years were found in the middle of the Federal Capital, in good health.

The two teenagers, aged 12 and 13, who were intensely sought after leaving a school in San Fernando and not returning to their homes were found around noon on Tuesday in the Federal Capital.

V.S.S (13) and K.B.G (12) appeared after 11.30 in the morning in San Juan and Boedo, in good health. Nothing was heard from the student and her classmate since yesterday at 13:30 p.m., when they left the Misericordia school located in Juan Madero at 1300.

"They showed up, they're fine. We are going to meet them, but we have already spoken with them and they are fine," Johanna, the missing boy's aunt, confirmed to Clarín. A woman saw them walking and caught up with them at the City's 5B Police Station.

Nothing was known since Monday. Their phones were switched off and the movements of a SUBE card were the clues that relatives and investigators were following to find them. They also suspected a disappearance related to a viral TikTok challenge.

A trip by train and several others by bus to get from San Fernando to Lanús. That had been the roadmap with the last destination registered at 21 p.m. on Monday on the teenager's SUBE card. His family was able to access the information, from his disappearance, after noon.

First, they took the Mitre train in the direction of the city of Buenos Aires. That movement could be established through the cameras of the railroad monitoring.

"The images detect them climbing into a formation. At that time they did not use the SUBE," Johanna had told Clarín The monitoring of the train, she said, also showed that they reached Belgrano, where they got on bus 59. That was the first activation on the SUBE card.

The next one was known at 16 p.m., when the teenagers traveled to Lanús aboard a unit of line 37. The last registration of the card placed them at 21, at which time they took the 521.

At all those points, the police checked the security cameras. The complaint was filed by Diego Sánchez, Valentina's father, at the 1st police station. of San Fernando.

From the environment of both boys ruled out that the escape has been related to a family problem or some unusual situation.

A letter and suspicion around TikToK

The possibility that the absence was aimed at fulfilling a challenge from the social network TikTok is not ruled out by the researchers. This hypothesis was born from the statements of the classmates. It is a challenge in which they have to disappear from their homes for 48 hours.

However, a letter left by the missing boy to another classmate had left everyone baffled. In it, he said that he intended to go to Bariloche and work in that place. This was confirmed by the aunt, who also revealed the existence of audios shared by other students where the missing teenager talked about his trips and plans for the future.

Anyway, the woman clarified: "The audios appeared after the disappearance. But the tone in which he spoke seemed like a joke or a game, like a boy's thing."

In addition, he claimed that he "had no other social network than TikTok." On that point, he said: "He had very restricted access because his parents controlled everything he did with his cell phone. I had to ask for permission for everything."

In relation to the challenge of the 48 hours, Johanna concluded: "We do not know if inside the school he saw it with his classmates. You know what it's like at home and in family, but sometimes not with your friends."
