Much has been said about reality TV star Kim Kardashian's parenting skills. In a new podcast marking the launch of the new season of the family show, Kardashian revealed that each year she gives each of her four children a special gift for each of her four children's birthdays. This time it's not something you buy in a high-end store, but a special ceremony she does.
"Every year I write every child on his birthday a letter recounting what happened in the past year." Kim explained that the letters include details such as: "Who their friends are, stupid words they say, their favorite foods and other funny little things that have happened in the past year." Kim said she keeps all the letters from all these years, "and it's exciting to see the pile of letters grow. I know they'll do it, because my mom did the exact same thing to me every year."

Kim also talked about the difficulties of being a single parent. She revealed, "Some nights I cry. On the other hand, it's also the most rewarding job in the world. There's nothing that can prepare you for parenthood and no matter how much you wait to become a parent, we're never really ready."
Kim finally divorced musician Kanye West six months ago, with whom she shares her four children. The musician has since remarried last January.
