The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has requested the indictment for 23-year-old footballers Mattia Lucarelli, son of former striker Cristiano, and Federico Apolloni, and for three other friends accused of sexual assault against a 22-year-old American student.
To ask for the trial was the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo with the added Letizia Mannella. The preliminary hearing was set by the gup Roberto Crepaldi for next June 13.

Lucarelli and Apolloni, who have always denied the accusations, were placed under house arrest on January 20. Measure revoked about three weeks later by the Court of Review which ordered the obligation to stay in Livorno, with a prescription not to leave the house from 20 to 8.
The alleged gang rape, according to the investigation of the Mobile Squad and the videos traced in the mobile phones of the boys, dates back to the night between 26 and 27 March last year.
