There are eleven, but "only one will be the queen." France 2 revealed Thursday the names of the candidates who will participate this summer in the second season of "Drag Race France", a show adapted from the American version of "RuPaul's Drag Race". This contest features drag queens who compete in challenges of sewing, comedy, humor, makeover or creativity.
As in season 1, the drag queen and former participant of the American version Nicky Doll will be at the helm of the show. It was she who hosted the press conference presenting the new candidates. Alongside him, Daphné Bürki and Kiddy Smile are also back in their roles as jurors.
A final shot in public, a first in Europe
The candidates will compete for several weeks to win the crown. Which one will succeed Paloma, winner of the first season? One thing is for sure, she is among the eleven drag queens below.

This season will see Cookie Kunty, Ginger Bitch, Kitty Space, Keiona, Lily Moon, Mami Watta, Piche, Punani, Rose, Sara Forever and Vespi, whose first photos were unveiled Thursday.
Change this year, the episodes will be put online every week at 18 p.m. before their broadcast on France 2 in the second part of the evening, an increasing visibility for the program, since in Spain, Italy or Sweden, the local versions do not benefit from such exposure during their broadcast.
On the occasion of the Pride March, two floats in the colors of the show will stroll through the streets of Toulouse and Marseille, on June 10 and July 1.

Finally, the season 2 finale will take place in public, as is customary in the American version of "Drag Race", a first for a European version of the franchise. It will take place at the Grand Rex, on a date that has not yet been announced.
These eleven new participants will be on stage from September 7 at the Casino de Paris, a tour throughout the France decided before the broadcast of the show, after the great success of the first edition last year.
