"Those who thought I was dead will have to wait," he says, full of irony after several months of silence. Host Michel Drucker posted Thursday on his Instagram account a video in which he gives for the first time of his news since his withdrawal from the air in February due to health problems.
Aged 80, Michel Drucker had undergone a major heart operation in March, followed by nearly two months of hospitalization. He had been discharged from the hospital in mid-May for several weeks of rehabilitation, but had so far not heard from him publicly.
"I'm in great shape, or almost. Thank you for your testimony. It touched me a lot," he says in a short video published in which we see him slightly emaciated, wearing a t-shirt and a cap with the inscription "Boss", the boss.

"See you in September on the set of Studio Gabriel, on my sofa," he concludes, referring to the famous red sofa of his show "Vive dimanche" on which he hopes to receive celebrities again very soon.
