Green light to tighten the controls of the Court of Auditors

(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 01 - Green light to the tightening of the controls of the Court of Auditors on the Pnrr. The Constitutional Affairs and Labor committees of the Chamber of Deputies approved the government's amendment that provides for the stop to the concomitant control over the work and the extension of the tax shield. The decree was then dismissed by the committees for the Chamber where it will land on Monday 5 June. In the same hours the government received the Court of Auditors at Palazzo Chigi. The meeting, which lasted just under an hour and a half, was attended by Minister Raffaele Fitto and Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano. The delegation of accounting magistrates was led by President Guido Carlino. During the meeting - reads a note from PalazzoChigi - "the issues related to the implementation of the PNRR, the use of the Complementary Fund, the control activity of the Court of Auditors were addressed. The need for full and loyal collaboration between the institutions was shared and the desire to strengthen discussion and dialogue was reiterated, with the adoption, while respecting competences, of a more intense and timely model of relationship and exchange of information".
A round table will also be set up with accounting judges on the audit of controls. (ANSA).
