GTA 6: Another setting should lead to the Caribbean
The new setting: The mega leaks for GTA 6 leave no doubt that players will once again be up to mischief in the streets of Vice City. But the iconic city and the Florida-like surrounding countryside may not be the only thing to marvel at. YouTuber Tyler McVicker surprised in a livestream with a completely new setting.
Not for the first time in Vice City
Already in the fourth part of the "Grand Theft Auto" series, players were able to explore Vice City. At the time, the game was based on the Miami of the 1980s. GTA Vice City was first released for the PlayStation 2002 in 2 and was also released for PC and Xbox a year later. Players slipped into the role of Thomas Vercetti, who became one of the most important masterminds in Vice City after his prison stay. So far, it seems that we can wander the streets of the Miami clone again in GTA 6 as well.
According to Tyler, players are not only drawn to GTA Miami, but also to Cuba. The island state in the Caribbean could thus become another big setting for the story of the upcoming Rockstar game. He also revealed that the story will be based on the criminal couple Bonnie and Clyde.
Let's just hope that the two protagonists don't suffer the same fate as the two gangsters. An artist has already impressively shown what the playable characters in GTA 6 could look like.

What's with that? Where Tyler McVicker got his information from is not known in more detail. In his livestream on May 21, however, he sounded very optimistic with his statements. However, the freelance gaming journalist is known for repeatedly obtaining insider information from various developer studios. That's why he regularly provides his 354,000 subscribers on YouTube with exciting news from the gaming sector.
GTA 6 should get another setting – time jumps lead to the Caribbean
Time jumps in GTA 6: However, the surprising Caribbean setting is not the only new info from Tyler, because he also speaks of time jumps in GTA 6. According to journalist Jason Schreier, the game is set in the present day, but Tyler seems very sure that players will be sent to a time-shifted Cuba through flashbacks.

Some fans even think that Guarma from Read Dead Redemption 2 was developed as a possible prototype for Cuba in GTA 6. However, in addition to the Cuba setting, the community would also be happy about the return of a hair mechanic from RDR2 in GTA 6. However, Rockstar has not yet revealed whether these two wishes will be fulfilled, as the studio remains silent on the next part of the GTA series.
