In a recent analysis, a job portal has now found out the average salary of Munich employees. Are you below or above the annual average?
Online reviews can prove to be helpful not only when buying products. They have also become indispensable when looking for a job. On portals such as Kununu, (former) employees can leave their opinion about their employers and also their salary in the respective position. Although you should always read between the lines, the reviews give a good tendency as to whether employees are treated well or badly or paid.
Kununu has taken advantage of the numerous evaluations and can thus not only identify the best employers, but also calculate the average salary for different regions, for example for Munich, thanks to more than 10,000 data records.
What employees earn on average in Munich
On the job portal, employees can enter their current salary. This makes it easier for other employees to better assess their salary. If someone in another state gets much more money for a similar job, perhaps even a move may be an option for the seeker. If you are looking for a new job anyway, you will also find a good basis here, which could be called the potential employer's desired salary in the application phase.
For Munich, Kununu recently analyzed all salary inputs and calculated the average gross annual salary in a full-time position: Employees in the Bavarian capital earn an average of 56,600 euros per year (approx. €4,716/month, gross). More than half of the employees (64 percent) are satisfied with their salary.
On job portals such as Kununu, you can rate employers, former or current. This can help applicants decide for or against a company and also identify earning opportunities. (Symbolic image) © Gustafsson/Imago
