Actress and hostMaya Wertheimerposted a surprising and confusing story on her Instagram page on Wednesday, in which she spoke out against reality shows and their participants. Perhaps she forgot that she herself hosted such a program?
Wertheimer, who is the host of the reality show "New Love," posted a story in which she talked about the rise of "Dancing with the Stars" and "Big Brother" and actually spoke out against the format of reality shows: "I woke up with mixed feelings. I love reality shows, but how do you make these shows build the people you are and not destroy them?!" the star wrote.
She added: "Yesterday a lot of people entered a new world. These formats will bring them to places on their own that they did not know, they will 'change' their lives but there will also be those that will 'change' really, really internally. I wish I could put the following sentence in the fireplace or Dancing with the Stars people reading this message: These programs are part of your life! It's not your life!"

Wertheimer revealed a particularly interesting detail, which is already enough to provoke comments online and wonder who she was talking about in the text she wrote: "I once lost a person who was really close to me, because when I needed him most, he wasn't there. He was in a one-off film that in another 10 years will not interest anyone. But I went through a tragedy that is lifelong. My heart was broken and since then something in me has been cursing these plans," adding: "Take things in proportion, be human and just have fun. Don't let prime time destroy the people you are."
Online followers did not miss the surprising confession, wondering if she was alluding toMaayan Adam, who until recently was a good and close friend of hers, who participated in the previous season of "Dancing with the Stars," at the same time Wertheimer lost her father, and whether there was a connection to the fact that the two are no longer seen together. Allegedly, of course.
Another issue that arose from the star's comments is the fact that she herself is the host of a reality show. Asked by a follower whether she thought there was a difference between these programs and one she herself hosts, Wertheimer replied: "I reminded the contestants of those phrases all the time! In another 10 years, I, too, will be a small part of the contestants' journey. Even as a facilitator, I have to remember that it's a huge privilege to be by their side and that I have to guard and guide them and ask the questions that will help them develop."
Voila! Celebs once rode a camel, but didn't see its hump because of its abundance of chins.
