"It was not a good morning in the Belgorod region. The Ukrainian armed forces relentlessly bombed the Shebekinsky district. Eight people were injured. There were no casualties": The governor of the Russian region of Belgorod, on the border with Ukraine, Vyacheslav Gladkov, writes on Telegram.
Gladkov said five people were injured in the town of Shebekino in the same district as a result of Ukrainian "incessant fire."
Asked about the attacks that Ukrainian forces are carrying out on Russian territory - such as the drone raids that hit Moscow - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg - questioned by journalists in Oslo - said that "Ukraine has the right to defend itself".
