We recognized theoversize flower trenda long time ago, but we never imagined that it would gain such momentum. Instagram is full of fashion lovers who fly on the Fluor Power, on shirts, halter necklaces, a pin on the lapel of the jacket and where not! We are officially entering the boiling summer months and there is not the slightest argument that if there is a recurring theme that enters with us, it is the giant flowers.

The huge flower motif is not a new gospel, designer Magda Butrim has been doing it for years by hand and pretty much built a whole career on it. In the local sector, Idan Leros sticks to the oversize roses, which are already featured in his several collections, and if that wasn't what satisfied fashionistas, now the trend is taking a step forward and reaching the shoe department.

Lueba has solemnly launched their 'nature' heeled sandals in their Spring 2023 collection, which are now seen everywhere on social platforms. Those designed as a 4D greenish bouquet, inspired by the entorium flower (about 600,<> shekels). Yes, the price is blown, but hey! We have news – you don't have to pay a fortune for this trend. You can now assemble and design it yourself at home.

TikTok already shows us this in a variety of variations and nowit's time to experiment. So how do you do it, so it doesn't look like a piece from your niece's house? Start with the most basic, choose a pair of heels that are already tired of sitting in a shoe closet, or a flat sandal for those who have difficulties, the kind you want to makeover and celebrate its existence again.

Then, prepare yourself in advance with scissors, clear glue or such contact that infects any material, and of course the flowers. Two options before you: the first, if it is for a one-time and short exit - a fresh bouquet that you can get rid of at the end of the evening (in this case you can use a thin tying string, and not necessarily glue). The second is flowers made of fabric or plastic, the kind that can be purchased in almost any stock or fast online site, but try not to look like a chip.

Once you have all the ingredients, the next step is simple. Think about where you would like to place each flower. If these are small pieces, you can definitely spread them on the shoe (or any other item by the way), make sure you do it tastefully - of course you can place them in one specific place centrally, on the heel itself or on the various straps. If it's one big piece, make sure that the location you choose doesn't interfere with the normal course of walking and of course - that there won't be such an obsession that you glued it.

Next, start by cutting the flowers, if there are extra stems - out, apply a drop of glue at the back of the flower and paste it in the location you chose. If you choose to walk on a thin thread that will grip, you can thread it through one of the petals or flat back stem top and wrap around the desired shoe area.

It may sound a little confusing, but designing and creating a vintage shoe makeover isn't really difficult. Whether you choose to use flowers, pieces of fabric, sequins, or even change direction and add feathers - the process is the same. Once you're closed on what you want, map out the materials and follow the instructions above. It's so easy that it's even entertaining.
