"Thank you for all these moments": after the death of Guillaume Bats, comedians pay tribute to him

The comedian, who was suffering from glass bone disease, died Thursday at the age of 36, his production team announced.

The reasons for his sudden death have not yet been communicated, but it did not take long for messages of tribute to the artist to pour in.

Guillaume Bats took his first steps on television as part of the show "On ne demande qu'à en rire", broadcast between 2010 and 2014 on France 2. Antonia de Rendinger, seen in the series "César Wagner", also speaks of her "immense grief", as do twins Steven and Christopher or Kevin Razy.

Comedy halls and festivals have also gone with their message to salute the work and humour of Guillaume Bats, from the Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland to the Apollo Theatre in Paris, via the One Man Show School of which he had been one of the students.

Early Friday morning, the Minister Delegate for Persons with Disabilities Geneviève Darrieussecq sent her condolences to the family and loved one of the 36-year-old artist.
