Bridge of June 2 limping with many thunderstorms, especially in the North

Today we celebrate the Italian Republic Day, remembering the date of the institutional referendum of 1946. In the 77 years since that pivotal day, the climate has changed. Average temperatures have increased by 1.5 - 2.0°C in major cities, rainfall has increasingly taken on tropical characteristics and extreme events have increased sharply in their frequency.
Antonio Sanò, founder of the www.iLMeteo.it website, confirms that even in recent months we have observed important signs of climate change and even this last storm phase reminds us that the energy at stake has increased due to global warming.
Thunderstorms, by the way, will continue during this Bridge of June 2; good news instead for the temperatures that will be decidedly lower than a year ago: in 2022, during this festive period, the first 40 ° C were recorded in the shade in Italy.
This year we will hardly exceed 30 ° C, better this way! In detail, the Republic Day will see showers in the afternoon close to the hills and in the adjacent areas: these will be thunderstorms in the inland areas of the Apennines, on the Alps and on the Pre-Alps, in subsequent evening exhaustion. Along the coasts the situation will be better. During the weekend, however, a 'Marseillaise' disturbance will arrive, that is, from the South of France, which will bring rains a little more continuous and widespread to the North; in the Center we will still have clearings and thunderstorms, from the word 'thunderstorm' therefore not persistent but for a short 'time', while in the South the sun will prevail with temperatures close to 30 ° C. Speaking of temperatures, during the weekend in the North there will be cities that will barely exceed 20 ° C maximum, especially where the rainy phases will insist in the central hours of the day: an almost autumn parenthesis at the beginning of June, very rare in recent years, this is the exception that confirms the rule. The rule that will probably make us soon regret these days, decidedly stormy but also pleasant from a thermal point of view.

Friday 2. In the north: afternoon thunderstorms on the Alps, Pre-Alps, Apennines, rarer in the plains. In the center: gradually more unstable and stormy on hills and nearby areas. In the south: afternoon thunderstorms.
Saturday 3. In the north: frequent showers or thunderstorms. In the middle: widespread afternoon showers. South: sunny except for a few isolated showers.
Sunday 4. In the north: widespread showers especially in inland areas, better on the coasts. In the center: scattered showers especially on Tuscany, Sardinia and the Adriatic side. South: sunny except for a few blocks short showers.
