North to South: Construction and infrastructure company Danya, part of Lapidot Capital Group, opens the week with a report that it has won the Israel Railways tender for the planning and execution of the fourth track project in the Ayalon section of Tel Aviv – for NIS 490 million, with VAT and indexation caps.
The goal of this project, among other things, is to significantly increase the frequency of trains in the center of the country and the periphery, by adding a fourth track from the north of the Tel Aviv Savidor train station to the south of the Tel Aviv Haganah train station.
The project includes the construction of an additional track in the Ayalon section, about 4.65 km long, alongside the three existing tracks. The beginning of the additional track, as stated, will be north of the Tel Aviv Savidor train station and its end will be south of the Tel Aviv Haganah train station.

The work is expected to last about 71 months from the date of receipt of the work commencement order. This project joins a number of other projects that the company has carried out and is executing for Israel Railways, among others, the 431 railway project, the Lod train station and the Savidor station.
Danya CEO Ronen Ginzburg: "We congratulate us on winning the project and are proud to continue to take part in the planning and execution of mega-projects of national importance in the field of infrastructure in the State of Israel."
