Cub Trasporti has called in recent days a 24-hour strike for today, Sunday, June 4, "to oppose the sale of the handling sector (maintenance) in the aircraft sector". A note explains: "The renewal of the CCNL Vettori on 2 December 2021 did not provide for any salary increase while for the Catering sector only 120 euros gross. Given the current economic situation, this, Istat data in hand, results in a loss of 280 euros per month for workers. Cgil, Cisl and Uil have simultaneously signed an agreement for catering workers that provides for a one-off of 400 euros in vouchers (nothing in the paycheck). In addition, companies in the Handling sector ask not to pay the first three days of the worker's illness, from the third absence event during the year, as already signed by CGIL, CISL and UIL in agreement signed on the sidelines of the contract. The handling companies also ask to reduce the range of night work and do not clarify whether the calculation of wage increases will be carried out with reference to the 2010 pay, as already granted by CGIL, CISL and UIL. For the washing of PPE (personal protective equipment) workwear, companies offer 0.20 euros per day (1 euro per week) despite the numerous lawsuits brought, and won, by Cub Trasporti in which the compensation provided is greater (up to 15 euros per week). Finally, the confederal unions insist on encouraging workers towards the transfer of funds to supplementary social security and health care, in companies and bodies jointly managed by unions and employers' representatives".
