Hunziker to women: 'don't go on the last date'

"I can't help but think of Giulia and her family. To Giulia and her baby in her belly". Thus begins the appeal launched by Michelle Hunziker, after the murder of Giulia Tramontano, on the Instagram profile of the Double Defense association, which she founded together with Giulia Bongiorno.
The presenter recalls that "the phenomenon of femicide continues undaunted" and that "many battles are being made".
"Surely many things have moved - she says -, but I want to make an appeal to all women. I would like to add to what was said about the last appointment: I recommend, prevention is everything. Try to understand the first alarm bells, try to be respected, do not cross the line, do not be devalued. And above all, do not go to the last appointment, the clarification can sometimes be fatal".
Hunziker denounces "degradation, this vicious culture of women perceived as an object", which "when it represents a problem, is eliminated from the world". "We cannot take this luxury of waiting for things to change - he underlines -. We are fighting for things to change, but in the meantime we must become aware that even the man we have chosen as the father of our children, if he is violent, is not good. Violence is not good."
