Decade Summary (Reuters)

Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah (son of Queen Rania of Jordan) and Saudi Arabia's Rajwa al-Seif were married last weekend in a traditional Islamic ceremony in the palace gardens in Amman. If anyone was expecting an Arab Hafla, get canceled – because, oddly enough, the guest list for the ceremony was closed at around 140 people. Among them are the local family, foreign royalty and heads of state. Among the guests chosen with tweezers were Prince Wiley and his wifePrincess Kate Middleton, who buried them all in two flushed looks.

For the official ceremony, the Princess of Wales went for a vintage pinkish piece by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. This is a very modest dress from the Lebanese designer's autumn-winter 2017 collection with tiny changes by Kate, in keeping with the royal style. The original design, presented on the runway six years ago, originally included a slim waistband with gold elements, and a semi-transparent skirt layer - starting from the waistline and along the legs.

The most impressive part of the flushed block she chose is the upper area. A modest yet feminine and elegant top. Bust wrapped in dress-colored embellishments, which flow from one side straight to a high collar and on the other into a high-cut skirt, accentuating the princess's figuration. Precise shoulder pads were also recorded, leading to slightly puffy sleeves.

She closed the outfit with a clutch bag ($305) from the British brand Wilbur & Gussie. A pair of suede sandals with curly straps in the same color palette, by Prada ($795) and oversized earrings with diamonds, under the sweet brunette mane of hair.

Even at the first royal dinner, before the wedding ceremony, to which some 1,700 people were invited, Katie did not disappoint and even surprised, choosing to wear the royal tiara on her head for the third time since becoming an official princess. The tiara was commissioned for Queen Mary in 1913, inherited by Princess Diana and returned to Queen Elizabeth II. The first time was at King Charles III's first royal banquet last November, and since then the people of the world have only been looking forward to seeing it again and again in a complete princely state.

For the prefabricated event, she opted for a maxi dress full of pink sequins by in-house designer Jenny Peckham, paired with a matching Prada clutch. Of course, she didn't forget to wear some new bling blings that had been inherited from her: Greville's chandelier earrings purchased at Cartier in 1918, from Queen Lizzie, who received them from her parents. As you may recall, the Middletons have close ties to Jordan, Kate's family used to live in Amman in the middle of the <>s when she was a little girl, so there's no doubt that the Mediterranean region is doing wonders for her.

A word about the bride who became Princess of Jordan, if we may - 20 people spent three months reviving the two wedding dresses she wore. The looks, sponsored by Elie Saab, included the first crepe dress with a matching corset, an asymmetrical neckline, long sleeves, and a sweeping nod. Second dress, a little more "bold" - short sleeves, bulk flower decorations along its length and long white gloves.
