Thousands of Vodafone customers are reporting internet problems. Throughout Germany, there are sometimes complete failures. The provider expresses itself.
Update from May 31, 18:05 p.m.: According to Vodafone, at least the mobile data should work again. On the website, the company writes: "The departments were able to fix the error. We apologize for the inconvenience." If you continue to experience internet problems, the service account on Twitter advises you to restart the device. It was only at the end of last year that several providers experienced a major disruption – Telekom, Vodafone, O2 and 1&1 were affected.
Major Internet disruption at Vodafone – "Working on a solution"
First reported on May 31, 16:44 p.m.: Kassel – Vodafone is currently experiencing technical malfunctions. Accordingly, there are problems with mobile and landline Internet. Several thousand users report the outages on the portal allestörungen.de.
For many, the Internet fails temporarily or even completely. As the Vodafone service writes on Twitter, there could be occasional outages nationwide in Germany on May 31. "Our technicians are working on a solution for you. So that soon everything will go back to the way it was before," it was said in the late afternoon.
Vodafone had already warned in advance of possible outages due to maintenance work, but only for certain regions. Problems are currently being reported nationwide. It is still uncertain how long disruptions to the Internet could occur. (asc)
