The opening episode of the seventh season of "Wedding at First Sight" began with an all-out bombardment of "We really haven't had such a season yet" and a sweet narration about finding unicorn men and a relationship that already talks about a baby. But all this tried to hide a matchmaking plan that was entering a dramatic second chapter of the relationship.
After the well-publicized separation from psychologist Danny Friedlander, his partner Yael Doron began episode two with a new partner, mainly examining our "relationship where" with the audience at home - after lifting the curtain that revealed the manipulative reality in which the production is being conducted. At the center of the season will be Eran Suissa's investigation, in which the contestants revealed how the production played in them while recruiting psychologists - and did not really let the "process" take its course.
It will be interesting to see if the new pairing continues to voice the contestants and takes care of the interest of the production or the love. An innocuous production also has a second side: the contestants. It will be interesting to see who are those singles who after the research still sign up for the format? Is there a reason for this other than exposure and followers? In the meantime, everyone sat on the couches and acted as if the intentions were purer than ever. The mini-manipulation began at the very beginning of the episode, after there was already enthusiasm for a fascinating story in which identical twins Einav and Shiran would undergo a season at the same time - after a few minutes we were informed that one was continuing and the other was not. So why play in our heads again?
In fantasy, this is the season when "My Wedding" will raise the tune and look the audience in the eye and do everything possible for love to prevail. Otherwise, it may yet end in divorce.
