Beppe Grillo, Giuseppe Conte and the president of INPS Pasquale Tridico tonight talk about the future of work in Italy, in a closed-door in-depth meeting scheduled at the Forum hotel, in Rome.
Grillo should entertain a few days in the capital, staying as usual at the Hotel Forum.
In the morning, he wrote on his Facebook page the summary of an article by Tridico: "In Italy, as well as in other EU countries, we continue to have as the main reference point for taxation, work. Our welfare model, which is based on the contribution of workers, will soon be at risk of sustainability. If taxation were rebalanced on the basis of turnover, the turnover of companies, and if we applied a minimum tax on the profits of corporations, our welfare would acquire the necessary sustainability. However, such an approach cannot be adopted in one country but should take place, as far as we are concerned within the European Union".
