Lazio: Tare leaves after 18 years, 'Beautiful experience'

Igli Tare leaves Lazio after 18 years spent between field and desk: the now former Biancoceleste ds announced it with a statement. "I have been making this choice for some time, but I waited for the good of Lazio to reach the goal of the Champions League, aware of having built a strong team, with extraordinary players prepared to achieve this goal", explains the Albanian manager. The "beautiful experience" in biancoceleste was made "of joys, defeats and trophies".
Tare thanks President Lotito "for the opportunity he has given me, the biancocelesti fans who have entered my heart, the club with all its components, the players, the staff and all those who have been close to me in this journey".
A special 'thank you' also goes to his family, who have always been close to him.
Arriving at Lazio in 2005 as a player, Igli then became sporting director in 2009, having retired the year before. "It was a prestigious opportunity I had both as a player and as a manager and that I will never forget, taking with me every single moment of this journey", concludes Tare.
The hope towards the fans, reads the end of the statement, is "that each of you continues, with the same passion that I had, to jealously guard this beautiful reality. Always Forza Lazio".
