The Boca Juniors player Sebastián Villa will go to trial again, after being sentenced last Friday to two years and one month in prison suspended for exercising gender violence against Daniela Cortés.
This Monday, the Justice raised to trial the case against the Boca striker for "sexual abuse with carnal access", from a complaint by Tamara Doldán.
The complaint against the Boca striker was filed in writing on May 13, 2022 at UFI 3 of Esteban Echeverría and three days later the victim ratified it in person at the prosecutor's office.
The young woman said that the event occurred on the night of June 26, 2021 in the country "Venado II" of Canning, a town in the Buenos Aires party of Ezeiza, where the footballer lived, and after a barbecue in which other players of the xeneize squad had participated.
The day after the event, Villa himself and his entourage contacted the victim with the aim of meeting to offer him money in exchange for not making the complaint.
An audio and a video were incorporated into the case where the Boca player is heard talking to her about a "deal", in alleged allusion to not denouncing him in exchange for a sum of money.
"We supposedly closed. We made a deal, didn't we? You're a woman of your word, aren't you? I am a man of my word," Villa is heard telling Doldán in the video.
That 53-second video emerged from a video made secretly by Doldán during a conversation he had with Villa in a restaurant in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Puerto Madero. According to witness statements, a friend of Villa's managed to give $5,000 to Doldán.
In the granting of the elevation to trial, it is alleged that "at no time does the defense deny that there was, on the day of the fact, sexual contact of a carnal nature between the accused and the complainant, so on the point there is nothing to discuss or evaluate. The line of action of the defense is to point out that the act was consented to and that the victim lies about it."
Although it is true that some aspects of the victim's statements have been denied or not credited
