Twitch star Fibii was a guest at an influencer tournament. Instead of football, the participants played another sport that the streamer likes much better.
Chemnitz – Football is the most popular sport in the world. Of course, there are exceptions. In the U.S., sports fans understand "football" differently and "soccer" is nowhere near as popular. But in Germany – and in most other countries – you don't make friends if you prefer another sport to football. Twitch streamer Fibii dared to do it anyway, dividing her fans.

Fibii thinks basketball is better than football – there's one thing she likes in particular
What happened? Fibii was at the "Creator Allstars!" tournament, which was organized by the influencers Rohat, Breitenberg and Abugoku. In addition to the streamer, many other people from the Twitch bubble attended the event - including MontanaBlack, Tanzverbot or Rewinside.
At the "Creator Allstars!" event, it was a basketball tournament. The sport is not unpopular in Germany, but compared to football it is only a marginal phenomenon. However, Fibii liked what she saw. On her YouTube channel, she posted a vlog post from her visit. In it, she says: "I'll be honest: basketball is 1,000 times more watchable than football or other ball sports." Basketball statement polarizes her fans: Such a comment about football is of course a sting in the wasp's nest in the football country of Germany. That's why her fans comment on the statement, for example, as follows: "Yes, then you've never been to the real stadium" or "Basketball isn't more awesome to watch. One point every 2 seconds. Football is much more tactical and tricky and therefore more awesome to watch."
Nevertheless, many fans also agree with her. The basketball enthusiasts therefore write: "She talks facts" or "Anyone who watched Ratiopharm vs. Munich on Friday knows that she is right."
