In the Council of Ministers convened tomorrow at 18 should land the bill against violence against women announced by the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi. The measure containing provisions to combat violence against women and domestic violence (family, birth rate and equal opportunities - internal - justice) appears on the agenda of the pre-council convened for 19 today.
Against violence against women, prosecutors will have tight deadlines - Application of the electronic bracelet by default unless otherwise evaluated by the judge and subject to the consent of the suspect; minimum distance from the victim of 500 meters; stringent deadlines both for the risk assessment and the possible request for the application of precautionary measures by the Prosecutor and for the judge in issuing the decision of precautionary measures. Criteria for the allocation of cases will also be introduced in order to encourage the specialisation of judges. In addition, the crimes will be included in the list of those considered priority for the treatment of trials. These are some of the measures, according to rumors, that will be presented tomorrow in the bill to be examined by the Council of Ministers against violence against women and domestic violence.
The agenda also includes: D.l. containing urgent provisions for the implementation of obligations deriving from European Union activities and from infringement and pre-infringement procedures pending against the Italian State (Presidency - European Affairs, South, cohesion policies and PNRR); D.D.L. delegating to the Government in the field of nursery gardening (agriculture, food sovereignty and forestry); D.P.R. containing Regulation dl Amendment to the Decree of the President of the Republic 11 November 2005, n. 255, on the structural unification of the Central Council for Historical Studies and Historical Institutes (definitive examination) (culture); D.P.R. amending the Decree of the President of the Republic 9 May 1994, n. 487, concerning rules on access to jobs in public administrations and the procedures for conducting competitions, single competitions and other forms of recruitment in public employment (final examination) (public administration); D.P.C.M. amending the Decree of the President of the Republic 15 March 2010, n. 90, concerning the consolidated text of the regulatory provisions of the military order, on the organization of the Ministry of Defense.
