The Pride flag, which was first hoisted at the San Francisco Pride Parade in 1978, has become the symbol most identified with the LGBT community. Over the years, during the community's efforts to receive recognition, the colors of the flag have also trickled into the worlds of fashion and design, and alongside the flags that fly on quite a few windows, you can find richer and richer collections every year that meet the general public.
It is true that the flag itself, in its original appearance, includes six shades, but many more shades are intertwined in the various interpretations as part of the concept of inclusion of a variety of tendencies, genders and beliefs, according to which it was originally designed. In honor of Pride Month in June, we looked at how you can incorporate the colors of the flag into your home space in the best way possible.

The inclusion and inspiration of items in the colors of the Pride flag is an accessible way to raise awareness of the issue and continue to deal with it and keep it on the agenda, in order to deepen the openness to it more and more. When it comes to home design, you can combine items that are identified with the colorful stripes that characterize the flag, and also choose items with colors that are present in its inspiration.
When designing the private space, it is recommended to combine items in the appearance of the flag stripes with items with a more abstract interpretation, in order to get a harmonious flow in the space and avoid clutter and an effortless look. It is enough to choose one or two items in a striped pattern and attach to them an item in another pattern, but one that emphasizes colorful richness.

In addition, there are items whose colorful message will convey better as a cluster, such as a cluster of frames each in a different color, or a combination of two sinks each in a different shade, a cluster of colorful vases and more. They can also be used as individuals, but then lose the intensity of the tone combination.
