(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JUNE 06 - Hollywood actors represented by the Sag-Aftra union have overwhelmingly given the green light to a strike if negotiations with studios and streaming services for the renewal of the employment contract fail.
The old contract will expire on June 30. 65,160 members of the union, which represents over 98,<> actors, television journalists, announcers and fallers, voted: <>% declared themselves in favor of the strike.
Last weekend, directors of the Directors Guild of America concluded a new contract. The screenwriters of the Writers Guild have been on strike since the first of May, whose agitation has effectively blocked any new Hollywood production. (ANSA).
