Highlights: The vote on the confidence that the government has placed on the PA decree law took place in the Chamber of Deputies. The opposition intends to practice a harsh obstruction on the measure to which the majority could react by asking for a river session. Since it is a decree-law, the regulation of Montecitorio assigns each presenter ten minutes to speak: five to illustrate the document and five for explanation of vote. "We cannot go on like this, only with decrees. We will not vote for confidence also," said Benedetto Della Vedova.

At the start shortly after 14 pm, in the Chamber of Deputies, the vote on the confidence that the government has placed on the PA decree law. The vote is clear and takes place by roll call: each Member parades in front of the Chair and declares his name out loud.

There are 149 agendas that have been presented in the Chamber of Deputies on the Dl Pa. The documents are practically all from the opposition, which intends to practice a harsh obstruction on the measure to which the majority could react by asking for a river session. The agendas will be taken after the vote of confidence. Since it is a decree-law, the regulation of Montecitorio assigns each presenter ten minutes to speak: five to illustrate the document and five for explanation of vote. Finally, the Rules of Procedure provide for an additional ten minutes for each Member in the final explanation of vote.

Around 12:30 the explanations of vote began, in which the oppositions reiterated their opposition to the decree.

M5S: the government builds enemies for propaganda
"This decree has served you to eliminate the concomitant control of the Court of Auditors on the PNRR. That is, the most useful one. The one that allows you to identify problems and helps to ensure transparency. The reality is that you build enemies for your propaganda. And you only do it because you need to distract the public from the problems you can't solve." This was said by Dario Carotenuto (M5S), a member of the Labor Commission of the Chamber, announcing the M5S's vote against confidence on the Dl Pa under discussion at Montecitorio.

Della Vedova: enough with the decrees, we do not vote confidence
"We cannot go on like this, only with decrees. We will not vote for confidence also because despite what the President of the Republic said last Wednesday you introduced two amendments that had nothing to do with this measure, the one on the army, which fortunately you then withdrew and the one on the Court's control over the PNRR ". This was said by Benedetto Della Vedova speaking in the Chamber of Deputies as part of the explanations of vote on confidence on the PA decree. "We wonder - he added - why Fazzolari or Malan have so radically changed their mind on PNR controls given that they had presented a bill on concomitant control". "You are trying - he concluded - to cover up the confusion you have made on the PNR but the PNR is too important for Italy, you are turning it into a problem in an institutional clash this is not good".

AVS: shameless trust on gag decree"The request for confidence on the Decree on Public Administration transformed by the Meloni Government into a gag
decree
is brazen. Eliminating the concomitant controls of the Court of Auditors on the PNR is a move that preludes ruins: in fact, you have denied the Municipalities additional staff, in fact the projects will go ahead without a prior visa that would be a guarantee of efficiency and streamlining. You are jeopardizing the future of this country." This was stated by Franco Mari, deputy of the Green Alliance and the Left, during the explanations of vote on confidence in the PA decree.

Fitto: 'No limitation to the controls of the Court of Auditors'
"No authoritarian drift of the Government regarding the Court of Auditors: there is, in fact, no limitation of the controls of the accounting magistracy. Giorgia Meloni is perfectly right in arguing that our Government, on this aspect, moves in line with the Draghi Government". So the Minister of European Affairs, South, Cohesion and Pnrr Raffaele Fitto in a post where he reconstructs the facts. recalling that "the provision of concomitant control was not born for the PNR (which at the time did not even exist). For the funds of the Plan, on the other hand, the discipline on the control of the Court is to be found in the Draghi Decree no. 77 of 2021".
