The museums of the Mic ahead on the Pnrr and Urbino pulls the sprint

(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 06 - If it is true that Italy is struggling to commit PNR funds, the issue does not concern the 498 museums and places of state culture, which by the end of June, as requested by Europe, will announce tenders for restorations, renovations, compliance and energy efficiency of their rooms, often secular, committing a total of over 430 million euros. And above all to pull the sprint is PalazzoDucale of Urbino with the regional direction of the Marche Museums that has burned the stages. So much so that in days, anticipates to ANSA the director Luigi Gallo, the construction site will come alive that will allow the prestigious Galleria delle Marche - home of absolute masterpieces by Raphael and Piero della Francesca - to complete the necessary works, in addition to the rearrangement of the noble floor, even before the deadline set by Brussels for the end of 2025.
"In the Marche they have been very good, but they will be followed closely by many other realities starting from Matera, Bari, Nemi", underlines the dg museums of the Mic Massimo Osanna, engaged since his arrival at the Roman College in the work of census eriammodernamento of Italian museums. Because it was from the 80s, he points out, that there were no major interventions on the places of Italian culture: "When I arrived at the direction, only 30% of Italian museums could count on a microclimatic control of the exhibition environments. For us a sort of great Pompeii project, tailor-made for the Marche region", he smiles. In all, about 7 million euros will bring to the best the Palazzo Ducale of Urbino, but also the Rocca di Senigallia and the National Archaeological Museum of Ancona.
