Little Lilibeth, the daughter ofPrince HarryandMeghan Markle, turned two years old and although we expected a celebrity-laden mass revelry, the parents chose a modest American style. The event took place earlier this week and tabloids in Britain were less interested in the type of cake served at the party, and more in the relationship between the couple and the royal family.
"I hope Lilibeth's special day included a video call to her grandfather, King Charles III," royal expert Jenny Bond told Page Six.
Another source said that the proud grandfather sent some of his advisers to choose a unique gift for Lily: a small wooden house, as his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, had.
Voila! Celebs would love such a modest gift from their grandfather and settle for licorice candies instead.
