"The outcome of the appeal process leaves us somewhat perplexed by what is emerging during the trial on the merits, before the court of Reggio Emilia, which consolidates what was ascertained during the investigations. I represent the bewilderment of some of the victims who cannot understand how such a decision is possible in the face of what they have suffered". This was stated by the lawyer Domenico Morace, defender of the civil party in the trial on custody in the Val d'Enza, commenting on the acquittal on appeal of the psychotherapist Claudio Foti. Morace is constituted in the trial underway in Reggio, not in the abbreviated Foti.
"We will carefully read the motivations to try to understand," added Morace who assists a mother and a child who have been prevented from relations with the father. "We renew our trust in justice and in the work of prosecutor Valentina Salvi and the carabinieri who assisted her", adds the lawyer.
