Bike: Bagnaia loads Ducati, Bastianini returns to Mugello

After a three-week break, the MotoGP World Championship returns over the weekend with the Italian Grand Prix and the official Ducati team will be able to field its pair of riders in MotoGP. Francesco Bagnaia will be joined by Enea Bastianini. The rider from Rimini, who had suffered an injury in the first Sprint race at Portimão, had returned to the track in Spain at the beginning of May, but was then forced to retire after free practice because he was still in pain. In the last month, Bastianini has been working hard to finally be ready for Mugello.
In the Le Mans accident the reigning World Champion had suffered a small fracture to his right ankle, which now "is fine and should not bother me - said Bagnaia - We did a test with Enea a few weeks ago at Mugello with the Panigale V4 S and before then I had also ridden at Misano without problems. It will be an important weekend for us and for sure the great energy of our public will give us extra motivation to do well in our home GP."
