The next day, at noon on Friday, June 9, the main pride party will be held at Ganei Yehoshua Park.

Tel Aviv is undoubtedly the most equal city in the Middle East to the gay tourist. The city's nightlife is considered one of the best in the world, especially the nightlife of the gay community. The gay scene in Tel Aviv revolves around weekly parties, and not necessarily designated bars or clubs like most cities around the world - which makes the city attractive, renewing and attracting many tourists.

Ahead of the largest gay pride weekend ever (June 10-8, 2023), we have compiled the recommendations and mandatory destinations for the gay tourist in Israel, and not only. Here are all the places you must go on a gay pride visit in Tel Aviv.

The Gay Pride Parade will begin on Thursday afternoon on Shalag Street, near the Lahat Promenade, Tel Aviv-Yafo, and continue until Daniel Street. 9 trucks of the city's leading linemen and gay community organizations will move in the parade. The next day, at noon on Friday, June 9, the main pride party will be held at Ganei Yehoshua Park. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the parade, Israel's leading artists (in alphabetical order) will perform on the biggest stage ever: Iggy Waxman, Izzy, Elin Golan, Echo, Jane Bordeaux, Chen Aharoni, Maya Bouskyla, Miri Mesika, Nono, Noa Tishbi, Youth Shulim, Neta Barzilai, Ness X Stilla, Ivri Leader, Adi Beatty, Eden Daniel Gabay, Omri Smadar and Shlomit Aharon, Red Access, Roni Duani, Rif Cohen, Ran Danker, Shahar Tabuch, Shir Zuaretz, Shiri Maimon, Shapita and Tamir Greenberg. The DJ stand will be played by Eliran Halevy and Yinon Yahel and the event will be hosted by Nadav Bornstein and Lioz Levy.

WAKE UP - TEL AVIV

The event, which is dedicated to creating strong female content at Pride events, puts women's creativity and a call for gender equality at the forefront. This is the fourth year of holding one of the main events for women, with more than 2,500 women expected to attend Independence Park with the participation of top singers and artists.

Happy Hour in Tel Aviv's Tourist Centers

The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality's World City and Tourism, which operates tourist information centers scattered throughout the city, will hold a happy hour during Pride Week at three of the centers between 17:00 and 18:00, during which wine glasses, candies and joyful music will be played to tourists. Tourist information centres will also be available for the official Pride Parade 2023 shirt.
The centers where Happy Hour takes place: Marzouk and Ezer 2 (near the Clock Square in Jaffa), 11 General Albert Mendler Street – the Sarona Information Center and the Herbert Samuel Promenade 46.

The best gay bars in Tel Aviv

Spaghat The Spaghat
is one of the most popular gay bars in Tel Aviv, home to the Tel Aviv gay community and a staple of the city's gay bar scene. The place is full of local customers and tourists 7 days a week. The Spaghat in the heart of the Nachalat Binyamin pedestrian mall, offers different seating spaces spread over several levels and creates a feeling of an amphitheater. Each seat is an excellent vantage point for the bar or dance floor. It hosts famous DJs and serves excellent cocktails. It's worth catching up on the street parties the place offers during Pride weekend.
