(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 07 - A girl of about one year was found dead in a car in Rome in the Cecchignola area.
The carabinieri investigate the case. The girl found in Via dei Fucilieri may have died after being forgotten in the car by one of the two parents. This is currently the first investigative hypothesis that the carabinieri are following. To support this thesis the fact that the little girl was waiting this morning at the kindergarten where she never arrived. The car and the adjacent area have been seized by investigators and surveys are underway. The car was parked inside the military citadel of Cecchignola in front of the Directorate General for Military Personnel and near a kindergarten. To alert the rescue was a passer-by who would have noticed the little girl in the car. The passer-by also broke the glass of the car to try to help the little girl. The 118 staff tried to revive the child but it was too late. (ANSA).
