Tanya McQuade will no longer return to The White Lotus, as the lady said her last word (and took her breath) in the second season of the hit HBO series. But Jennifer Coolidge, the actress who played the beloved character, has a creative idea of how to allow Tanya to be a part of season three, even though she's no longer alive.

Coolidge actually wants to avenge Tanya's tragic death by killing her husband, Greg (John Grace), who plotted to murder her all along in order to inherit her vast wealth.
"I hope John hasn't finished playing Greg yet, and that evil Greg gets an appropriate punishment," Coolidge, 61, said in a special project hosted by Variety, which features actors talking to other actors (Coolidge's partner is Jeremy Alan White as Philip from Shameless). "I think he, I don't know, should end up in a meat grinder," the actress clarified, revealing that at first she didn't know how Tanya would take her life. "Mike (White, creator of the series; D.P.) did tell me that her end would be terrible, but he said it more like, 'I'm sorry, Jennifer, but you're going to have to die.'"

Still, if Tanya manages to come back from the dead in one form or another, how does Coolidge think it should happen? "Maybe she should come back as a seagull and peck at Greg's eyes," the Emmy-winning actress shared, but in the end, she, too, came to terms with the fact that Tanya's death was necessary for the plot. "I think Tanya could be a little too much. Maybe people would have had enough of it for another season."

The third season of "The White Lotus" will take place in Thailand. Its launch date has not yet been set, but due to the Hollywood writers' strike, it is unlikely to happen in the coming year.
