(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 08 JUNE - The sabotage of a pipeline for the export of ammonia from Russia, which took place in the Ukrainian region of Kharkiv, will have a "negative impact" on the agreement for the export of Ukrainian wheat, which will expire on July 17. This was said by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskovquoted by the RIA Novosti agency.
"It can only have a negative impact," Peskov said in response to journalists' questions about the effects of the explosion which, according to Moscow, occurred on Monday evening on the Ukrainian section of the Togliatti-Odessa pipeline for the export of Russian ammonia for the production of agricultural fertilizers.
The pipeline has been closed since February 24, 2022, the day of the invasion of Ukraine, and Moscow is placing its reopening among the conditions for accepting the extension of the agreement for the export of Ukrainian wheat beyond July 17, when it expires. (ANSA).
