The complaint involving Marley and Marcelo Corazza: doubts and a sealed envelope

2023-06-08T16:02:32.464Z

Highlights: The complaint was filed at the end of last week before the Oberá Police. Judge Horacio Heriberto Alarcón got rid of the complaint based on the fact that he would be facing a case of human trafficking. One of the people mentioned in the complaint (Corazza) was already being investigated in Buenos Aires. The complaint and the sealed envelope where the name of the complainant and how to contact him are reserved were sent to Comodoro Py. Both the Police and the Court handled themselves with total secrecy.

The judge of Misiones referred Ariel Lijo, who investigates sexual abuse of the producer. How the cause follows.

Without analyzing the veracity of the complaint or trying to corroborate the identity of the complainant, a judge in Oberá, Misiones, referred to the Courts of ComodoroPy the presentation made by a man who pointed to the driver Marley (53) and Marcelo Corazza (50) as two of the people he met in a fifth during a trip to Buenos Aires he made at age 14. However, in Justice they noted that there are some inconsistencies that generate doubts about the story of the alleged victim.

The complainant would be around 40 years old and in an interview with the Buenos Aires channel Crónica TV he maintained that he was abused when he was 14 years old. Corazza, another of the celebrities mentioned in the complaint, won the reality show "Big Brother" in 2001, that is to say that the abuses suffered by the complainant were later, and that is where the questions arise: if the encounter in the fifth occurred that same year, the victim was 18 and not 14 years old as he said in his presentation.

The complaint that was filed at the end of last week before the Oberá Police had an express procedure in the Court of Instruction 2 of that city. As soon as Judge Horacio Heriberto Alarcón knew that he could have a connection with the case being processed by federal judge Ariel Lijo, he advanced with his incompetence. In the middle of this week, the complaint and the sealed envelope where the name of the complainant and how to contact him are reserved were sent to Comodoro Py. Both the Police and the Court handled themselves with total secrecy.

On Monday, Alarcón got rid of the complaint based on the fact that he would be facing a case of human trafficking – a crime that corresponds to investigate the federal jurisdiction – and that one of the people mentioned in the complaint (Corazza) was already being investigated in Buenos Aires.

Sources linked to the case revealed that there were telephone communications between the court of Alarcón and that of Lijo to establish if that cause of Corazza could be linked to the new complaint involving Marley. Until now the file sent from Oberá had not entered the system in the Retiro court. Once that happens, prosecutor Carlos Rívolo and Judge Lijo must define if they are indeed connected and this presentation ends up added to the same file, which is what is supposed to happen if they determine that the complaint has entity.

The complaint on a TV channel

The complainant arrived at the Regional Police Unit II of Oberá in the company of a journalist from Crónica TV and demanded to make a complaint under reserved identity. "I present myself through this act in order to inform you that with the fear of the case, with my identity reserved, I want to state that on a trip I made to a farm in the town of Pilar, I saw and recognized two famous drivers: Marley, who was called 'the beautiful' and Marcelo Corazza, 'El Porteño'". The man did not specify the date on which that meeting took place and that generated some doubts in the judicial field.

"I was abused when I was just 14 years old, when I was contacted by this clan in which there was a very famous driver. I would give my identity but I am afraid, I have a family. What if something happens to my family?", denounced the alleged victim, live, in the studio of Crónica TV, wearing a balaclava to avoid being identified.

"These people have great power, dark power, wicked power. Who assures me that these people are not going to hurt me?" he added. When asked by the driver of the cycle if any celebrity abused him, he did not hesitate to answer: "Marley, Marley". He added: "They paid to have sex and they gave me a small percentage."

The man said he was "recruited" by the organization when he was a teenager and transferred to a farm in Pilar, where several media personalities were gathered. "There were adults and minors. Two older than those who were there were celebrities, Corazza and Marley. I don't remember more than that," he said.

"I don't remember and can't pinpoint the exact date, but it was many years ago. I saw and recognized famous drivers like Marley and Marcelo Corazza. The first was called 'el porteño' and the other, 'el bonito'," he said.

The situation of Corazza

In Misiones, Francisco Angelotti (46) was arrested as one of those in charge of recruiting minors to take them to Buenos Aires and deliver them to have sex with adults in exchange for money. Corazza, Andrés Charpenet (53) and Ignacio Mermet (53) are also being prosecuted in that case.

Corazza was arrested and later released, but new evidence found on his cell phone returned him to jail on May 31.

The telephone expertise of the cell phones was incorporated into the file days before, on May 18, and it must be analyzed if more victims or new defendants can emerge from there.

Chamber 5 of the National Court of Criminal and Correctional Appeals confirmed the prosecution of the Telefé producer, suspended since the complaints were known, in a case of corruption of a minor under 13 years of age and obscene exhibitions. And he had ordered his preventive detention.
