The new issue of Valentino
Lacquered, velvet, carpets and clothes, red is visited from every angle at Valentino. VITTORIO DOZIO
Valentino goes up Avenue Montaigne. For once, the brand's new boutique already present on this luxurious axis was not imagined by an architect, but by CEO Jacopo Venturini and artistic director Pierpaolo Piccoli. Thought like a house, the place is impregnated with Roman codes such as marble and checkerboard, like an Italian embassy in the French capital. The idea behind this achievement is to create a place halfway between Paris and Rome, where Valentino's legacy blends with the current desires of customers.
The new Valentino boutique is to be discovered at 35, avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris. And, surprise, by scanning a QR code on site, a small gift is offered.
Louis Vuitton at the water's edge
Summer according to Louis Vuitton is sun, water and monogrammed essentials. Nicolas DELORME
Around the pool this summer, no Alain Delon, Romy Schneider or Jane Birkin. The stars are the essentials of Louis Vuitton. At the water's edge, no element escapes the monograms of the house, from the cotton hammock to the beach towels. The emblematic bags seize and adorn themselves with the codes of the season. Even the NeoNoe wears raffia, de rigueur this summer. So under the heat wave, Louis Vuitton chooses to bask the pill.
The LV by The Pool collection is available on louisvuitton.com.
The first collection of Maison Michel bags
Small, large, round and decorated with ears, the first collection of Maison Michel bags is complete and made in France. Alix Marnat
"It's the story of an unlikely marriage between two trades that never meet," says Priscilla Royer, artistic director of Maison Michel, the illustrious hatter and milliner of the Chanel group. After nearly 90 years of styling princesses and other loyal customers, the artisanal brand is embarking on an unprecedented challenge: this spring, it unveils its first line of handbags. Starting from the simple observation that "an inverted hat becomes a container", Priscilla Royer imagined models using antlers, the molds on which hats traditionally take shape. But also by feeding on the know-how of other craftsmen, jewelers and embroiderers gathered at the group's headquarters, the 19M. A first series of chic straw bags was born, sewn by hand by in-house craftsmen. The refined baskets that were missing from summer outfits.

Mosaert gets a makeover
Coralie Barbier was inspired by freckles, which she mirrors with the contemporary art movement of pointillism. Mosaert
The creative label Mosaert, of the singer Stromae and his wife, the designer Coralie Barbier, has just presented its latest capsule. This year -because they present only one collection per year-, the pieces are relieving themselves of their usual preppy look and abandoning their heart colors, to adopt those of the body. An ode to self-acceptance, the cuts are flexible and, with a palette imitating freckles, serve more than ever as a second skin.
The Mosaert Capsule 8, with its quilted trousers, sweaters with detachable sleeves and all other parts, is available on mosaert.com
Shy'm and Vartang as Charles de Vilmorin
The clip Givré with Shy'm & Vartang carry the new creations of Charles de Vilmorin. Mélanie Doh
The young designer unveils exclusively his new collection in the clip of Givré, the new song of Shy'm composed and performed in duet with the Martinican artist Vartang, a melancholic and very personal pop-R'n'B title. It is in the sparkling, mysterious and poetic universe of director Rocca Dell, between shadows and light, that the creations of this young fashion talent are sublimated. Charles de Vilmorin had hitherto accustomed us to phantasmagorical drawings and references to painters in his creations, but it is a monochrome white that is honored here. Shy'm and Vartang wear very theatrical adornments, similar to both wings and armor. He wears a fringed bolero jacket, the interpreter of Woman of color, meanwhile, wears a long dress with a puffy cape. Do these creations give a glimpse of Charles de Vilmorin's upcoming Haute Couture show? Reply on 3 July.
The clip Givré is to be discovered on youtube.com

The brand's bags are 100% upcycled and made in France. 10.03.23
When, in 2020, it was necessary to name his brand, Luca Colosimo chose the date of birth of his late father, March 10, 1953. Both a place of sale and a workshop, its address in the 20th arrondissement of Paris allows you to discover its bags from every angle. Passed by the workshops of Gucci where he learned the mastery of leather and at Paco Rabanne, he then refines his paw in Mexico by customizing bags on the beaches of Tulum, in front of buyers. This way of sharing his know-how, the creator intends to make it last, even far from the fine sand.
