An autopsy is underway in Milan on the body of Giulia Tramontano, the 29-year-old 7-month-pregnant woman killed in Senago, in the Milan area, by her partner Alessandro Impagnatiello. To perform the autopsy examination at the Institute of Forensic Medicine is Professor Andrea Gentilomo together with the specialists who will intervene to perform toxicological and entomological investigations. Around 8.30 the carabinieri of the scientific investigations section and the lawyer of the Tramontano family, Giovanni Cacciapuoti, arrived at the structure in via Mangiagalli. The autopsy will have to clarify, among other things, how many stab wounds were inflicted on the victim, the time of death and whether the woman was attacked from behind.
From a legal point of view, the position of little Thiago could change if Giulia had begun labor. This was explained by the lawyer Giovanni Cacciapuoti, lawyer of the victim's family, leaving the institute of forensic medicine. "We do not know if under the stress of the homicide action, there may have been an impulse of increase, for example of oxytocin. If labor had begun, there would be a mutation of the charge."
"To have the availability of the body - he added - it takes a few days, also to be able to organize the funeral rite to Giulia and little Thiago. In the middle of next week we hope to have the body to be able to provide for the funeral. The family is stunned by this pain, but knows that these times are needed for the investigations. Today the father was present with another family member".

I was very struck by this story - she added with emotion -, first of all because she was expecting a child, and then you can't kill a person like that. It's absurd."
