Meloni at the 'Forum in Masseria' by Vespa: 'Women victims of violence witnesses in schools'

Meloni's interview at the 'Forum in Masseria' da Vespa, at the third edition of the 'L'Italia che verrà' cycle of forums. During the interview, the Prime Minister addressed various topics.


"We try to free up resources to put them where they are needed: in Italy there is a problem of wages, the goal is to make the cut of the wedge structural, it depends on state revenues, which depend on growth". This was stated by the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, interviewed by Bruno Vespa at the forum 'L'Italia che verrà' at Masseria Li Reni.

"The most important figure is the Italian GDP that grows above the European average. The government has to give its signals, the economy responds and is doing so, but it is not a flash in the pan. Italy has reached the historical record of number of employees and stable contracts, and everything is driven by female employment".

"On
the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, I would like to bring the victims or relatives of the victims, to tell their story in schools. Nothing is more educational," Meloni stressed. "On culture is the great challenge: I hope that in the parliamentary passage of our rules against femicide it is a ground to find a cross-party agreement. I am very willing to work together and meet those who work there, not just women".
